"My doctor said it was like having a grenade go off between my ears." Tim Malm had no scratch, no broken bone — but his brain was bleeding to death.
On June 16th, 2010, Tim was steer roping when the rope jerked tight and snapped his head. His brain slammed from one side to the other, causing massive internal bleeding. For two weeks in ICU, "the lights were on but nobody was home."
Hundreds of people filled the waiting room praying during emergency brain surgery. Doctors said he would never walk again, never do anything he wanted to do again, and never eat regular food again. Today, Tim is home and getting stronger with the Lord. He can eat regular food again, speaks at rodeo churches, the Denver Stock Show and Cheyenne Frontier Days, runs his coffee company Stronger413 — named for Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" — and wrote a 26-day devotional on Joshua called The Battlefield.
This Christian testimony is proof that what the devil meant to destroy, God uses to deliver hope. As Tim says: "I don't believe in coincidence. I call it God-cidences."
