Alone in the church before his first wedding, God told Nick Furloni, "Don't do this." He got married anyway - and paid for it with seven years in a loveless marriage.
Combat veteran Nick Furloni served 13 years in the Army in infantry and artillery units, including two combat tours to Iraq. He completed Ranger School, Jump School, and commanded in the 82nd Airborne Division. But while his military career soared, his home life was falling apart. In this Christian testimony, Nick shares what happened when he ignored God's warning at age 22, why he stayed, and what those seven years cost him.
After divorce and years struggling in the dating world, everything changed at his friend Tony's wedding in Savannah, Georgia - where he met Gabby and heard her sing. Without thinking he told his friend John, "That voice will sing to my children." Nick and Gabby were engaged in January and married in April 2015. Then came the moment that changed everything: during an altar call at a church service, Nick watched as his silent prayer for his wife's salvation was answered.
That answered prayer led to his own full surrender and later to calling into ministry. Today Nick is a men's minister and communications director, Christian life coach, police chaplain, and host of the Valor & Vision Podcast.
